If American taxpayers pay for the research, development, and production of a coronavirus vaccine, then it should be accessible, available, and affordable to all Americans.

Pharmaceutical corporations should not be allowed to engage in price gouging for COVID-19 vaccines or treatments.

We should ensure as many people as possible have access to a vaccine. Because -- and this is my bottom line -- the best way to beat this virus is to make sure everyone, regardless of zip code, economic status, anything, has access to the vaccine.
