I really appreciate everyone pitching in on Race to Save the Senate last year, and I'm doing it again this year!
To save the Senate from Donald Trump and another disastrous Republican majority, we need to lock down the current 47 Democratic seats and cross the finish line first in at least four red-to-blue Senate races.
This year, my Race to Save the Senate fundraiser is dedicated to helping out key Senate races across the country.
The incredibly exciting news is that there are six red-to-blue Senate seats that are now rated toss ups: North Carolina, Ohio, Maine, Alaska, Iowa, and Texas.
And to add to the opportunity, there are two red seats that have been moved from solid-red to lean-red, and independent candidates there have tremendous momentum: Kansas and Nebraska.
The single most powerful thing we can do to put an end to Trumpism is to take the Senate. When Democrats are in charge, there won't be one more right-wing judge confirmed, and there won't be one more Big Ugly Betrayal Bill that guts health care and nutrition assistance to fund tax breaks for billionaires.
Better yet, a Democratic Senate Majority will start rebuilding the four foundations families need to thrive: housing, health care, education, and good-paying jobs.
This is an extraordinary moment and America is in deep trouble with Trump building an authoritarian strongman state and destroying our checks and balances.
We can either lie on the couch with a pillow over our heads and hope things get better... or we can seize the moment and drive hard to win each one of these competitive toss up races.
