This month made one thing crystal clear: with Trump, it's ALWAYS families lose, billionaires win. Let me walk you through what we've been up against, and what I've been doing about it.

As the top Democrat on the Senate Budget Committee, I've been leading the fight against this bill, and just last week, Republicans punted their own legislation before it could reach a vote.
    
3. A new Brown University report shows consumers have already spent over $40 BILLION extra on gas since the start of Trump's illegal war with Iran. He ran on lowering costs on Day 1. Families are paying the price for that broken promise. We pushed the War Powers Resolution to rein in this illegal war through a major procedural hurdle in the Senate — it's not over, but it's a real step forward.
