Donald Trump wants taxpayers to spend $1 BILLION building a Louis XIV style gold ballroom at the White House

Donald Trump wants taxpayers to spend $1 BILLION building a Louis XIV gold ballroom at the White House. Seriously.

Trump's ballroom

While families are struggling with rising costs on everything from gas to groceries, Trump is obsessed with spending hard-earned taxpayer dollars on his ballroom boondoggle.

This massive ballroom is so enormous it would tower over the White House itself — built on the ruins of the East Wing, the people's house.

Donald Trump is not Louis XIV, the presidency is not a monarchy, and taxpayers should not be forced to bankroll a gilded monument to one man's ego while working families pay the price for his reckless priorities.

I'm going to keep speaking out against this corruption, this abuse of power, and this endless effort to rig the government for billionaires and political vanity projects instead of ordinary Americans.

If you're with me in this fight, I'm asking you to chip in today.

Onward,

Jeff
