Billionaire money is flooding our elections

The scale of billionaire money flooding into our elections has reached a staggering level. A recent analysis found that 300 billionaire families accounted for nearly 19% of all federal campaign contributions in 2024. In some races — especially state and local ones — the share is even higher.

A tiny handful of ultra-wealthy individuals now have the financial power to shape huge portions of our political system. And too often, the policies that follow serve those same billionaires — not working families trying to afford housing, health care, and groceries.

Under Trump, we're seeing the consequences of this billionaires-win agenda: tax breaks for the wealthy, corporate loopholes left wide open, and powerful interests pushing policies that make Americans sicker and poorer.

That's not the democracy our founders envisioned.

I believe our government should work for people, not the powerful who can write the biggest checks. That's why I've fought for stronger campaign finance rules, transparency in political spending, and policies that level the playing field.

But until those reforms pass, one of the most powerful ways to fight back is through grassroots support.

Small donations from people like you are how we counterbalance billionaire money and prove that a campaign powered by ordinary Americans can still compete.

If you're able, please chip in a few dollars today to help us keep pushing back against billionaire influence and stand up for a government that works for everyone.

Onward!
