Trump is enacting his revenge

We're now in a government shutdown because Republicans refused to fix the health care crisis THEY created. And now, Russ Vought just gave us a glimpse of what's next under Trump's destructive playbook.

Vought illegally canceled nearly $8 billion in clean energy projects — but only in blue states like Oregon, Washington, California, New York, and Illinois. Russ Vought is breaking the law, and for what? To apply pressure on Democrats to reopen the government instead of negotiating with them to fix Americans' health care.

Let's be clear: ripping funding away from only blue states will raise utility bills for EVERYONE. It's not rocket science. Vought is unfit to serve in this or any administration.

This is another example of the Republican plan where families lose and billionaires win.

Trump has said out loud that he wants to "hurt" Democrats and Democratic communities — and this is just one way he's doing it. Pulling funding, sabotaging jobs, raising costs, and treating America like his personal political playground.

These actions are devastating for families who are already struggling.

Democrats are saying HELL NO.

I'll keep fighting back against this authoritarian agenda and working to pass a funding bill that addresses the urgent needs of the American people.
