Not fast, but forward
I've been training for my October Race to Save the Senate, and I promised I'd keep you updated on my progress every few days. You can watch a recent post-run video here.
Here's the truth: it's been tough. After not jogging for two years, my first runs were tough. By day three, my legs could hardly move. But on my last day of training, I ran a mile and a half without stopping, and clocked my first mile under 12 minutes. Not fast, but forward — and moving forward is what matters.
That's exactly what this fight for our democracy feels like. Progress may feel hard, but mile by mile, we're getting stronger.
Because just like training, we can't lie on the couch and hope things get better. We're up against a powerful authoritarian movement, and the only way we stop it is by lacing up, pushing ourselves, and showing up together.
The 2026 election is our best chance to stop this dangerous, strongman takeover, and we need to save the Senate to save our future.
I'll keep training, one mile at a time. And together, we'll keep building our movement, one supporter at a time. That's how we save our Republic.
Onward!
