Why are Trump and Musk messing with Social Security?

Americans love Social Security, and what's not to love? You work your whole life, paying in with the promise that Social Security will be there when you retire or if you become disabled. It's provided economic security for almost a century. So why are Trump and Musk trying to sabotage it?

Trump and Musk's so-called anti-fraud crackdown at the Social Security Administration was a fraud itself. According to a recent report, out of over 110,000 claims reviewed under their wasteful new rules, only 2 claims were found to potentially be fraudulent.

The Trump-Musk scheme is bogging down Social Security payments, and retirement claim processing is down 25%!

Trump, Musk, and DOGE are gumming up the system by wasting your tax dollars and making it harder for seniors to access the Social Security benefits they've paid into over their whole working lives.

It's a direct attack on people who need their checks to show up on time.

Generations of workers have worked hard and paid into Social Security with every paycheck. We cannot betray their investment or the promise that Social Security will be there when you need it.

I plan to fight like hell against Republican cuts to Social Security and work to strengthen it in the Senate.
