Trump’s latest abortion position is more radical than it sounds

Donald Trump has been talking about abortion a lot lately. He says he won't sign a federal abortion ban, but does anyone actually believe him?

While Trump is distorting his record and distracting voters on the issue of abortion, we must not let him – or the MAGA Republicans in Congress – rewrite history to claim that they wouldn't take an active approach to banning abortion nationwide.

If elected in November, Trump will re-enter office with broad executive authority to restrict abortion access. We can't trust him with the power to further gut access to reproductive rights.

Trump himself has said he wants to let states monitor women's pregnancies and criminally prosecute anyone who violates unjust and harmful abortion bans!

We must stop Trump because we can't allow him to get anywhere near the White House this November. Reproductive freedom for millions depends on it.
