Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your loved ones!

Today, I'm thinking about how much there is to be thankful for.

I'm thankful for living in a country that is a democracy and not an autocracy.

I'm thankful we've been using that democracy to achieve some significant wins—from passing an infrastructure bill to rebuild America to making the largest investment ever in tackling climate chaos to passing meaningful public safety legislation to appointing judges who reflect the diversity of our country.

None of those things would have happened without all of you raising your voices and sharing your viewpoints to help me push for change in the Senate.

I'm thankful for your energy, enthusiasm, and sense of purpose. We'll need that for the fights ahead that will determine the future of our democracy.

I know that holidays can be hard, and my heart goes out to those of you for whom today is difficult. And to those of you who spend today at work to keep us safe and healthy, thank you.

However you spend Thanksgiving, I hope you are able to connect with the folks who mean the most to you.
