There's a hedge fund in your neighborhood?!

Say hello to your new neighbor: Wall Street has moved in next door.

At a time of skyrocketing rents and a nationwide homelessness crisis, Wall Street investors are buying up neighborhoods. This is only furthering the already devastating housing shortage.

The rich are getting richer by making it harder for the rest of us to find a place to live. It's absurd.

That's precisely why we need to ban hedge funds and private equity firms from devouring our housing supply. Sign the petition today to ban hedge funds from buying residential housing.

When Wall Street buys up houses, they drive up the price of homes. They push up rents faster and higher than other landlords.

Wall Street hedge funds gobbling up our neighborhoods only serve to create more homelessness.

And because their whole point is to make as much off their investment in as short a time as possible, the houses they own are in worse shape and more likely to blight neighborhoods.

All of the problems afflicting our communities are made worse by Wall Street's huge footprint in housing markets.

From climate change to income inequality, corporate greed lies at the heart of the many issues we face today. The housing crisis is no different.

Let's shift the power away from Wall Street and back into our neighborhoods. Sign the petition and ban Wall Street hedge funds from buying residential houses.

Onward!
