Georgia: Let’s do it again

When my friend and colleague Senator Raphael Warnock says we've been here before ... he's absolutely right.

A runoff election in Georgia and a Republican candidate spewing lies to make Donald Trump proud.

Sound familiar? You bet.

Two years ago, when this last happened, progressives across America got to work and, alongside our Democratic friends in Georgia, made the critical difference in two close, close races.

So here's the big question, with one week to go before Election Day: Can we do it again?

The most recent polling shows Rev. Warnock with a narrow lead. That pretty much mirrors what we saw after election night, where we were ahead by less than 40,000 votes (out of nearly 4 million total).

This election next week is winnable, but it's going to be very, very close.

And the Republican attack machine? Oh boy, is it going full-speed. Anything to prop up a desperate, failing candidate like Herschel Walker.

So, while Rev. Warnock and Georgia Democrats are going full-speed, we need to be there for them, to ensure they have the resources to get out the vote ahead of Tuesday's election.
