Tim Ryan, the working-class Democrat in Ohio
On Tuesday night, voters in Ohio picked their nominees for the wide-open US Senate seat.
In the blue corner, our champion is Congressman Tim Ryan. Tim's an unapologetic champion for working Americans of every background, never shying away from a fight with the privileged and powerful who try to rig the game in their favor.
In the red corner, the Republican nominee is a guy named JD Vance. (You might have heard that Donald Trump fumbled his name the other day, but make no mistake, he's Trump's guy.)
How extreme is JD Vance? He supports a complete ban on abortion even when a woman or girl has been raped or is the victim of incest.
We can win in Ohio. After all, my good friend Sherrod Brown holds the other Senate seat in the Buckeye State.
And winning in Ohio in 2022 is absolutely critical to holding and hopefully growing our majority in the U.S. Senate.
