[PETITION] The Senate must protect abortion rights

Even with the terrific addition of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court, Roe v. Wade is still in big trouble.

Texas took an awful and unprecedented step when they passed an absolutely draconian law to criminalize people seeking abortions or helping others.

And now states like Oklahoma and even Oregon's neighbor Idaho are doing the same, going ahead with some of the most blatant attacks on Americans' reproductive rights and bodily freedoms we've seen in the half-century since Roe.

It is up to Congress to make the next move. We cannot afford to wait for the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade and tear down reproductive rights.
