Act now to stop the Republican recall

What is happening right now in California matters to every American. Here's what you need to know:

Tuesday is election day. Voters are returning mail-in ballots right now to decide whether to recall Governor Gavin Newsom. If he is recalled, the leading candidate to replace him is a right-wing radio host and Trump ally.

We cannot let that happen.

We cannot let California go the way of Texas and Florida. We cannot let California get in thrall to an anti-mask, anti-vaccine governor who will stand in the way of fighting this pandemic.

And we cannot let California slide backwards from its leadership in fighting the climate crisis. Imagine what happens to California's requirement for 100% clean electricity by 2045, for example, if there's a new governor who says "global warming alarmism is a crock."

So, here are the two things you can do:

First, tell all your friends and family in California to vote NO on the recall and return their ballot right away. (If you're in California, I trust you've already done that!)

Second, pitch in right now to help get out the vote to fight the Republican recall (and support our Blue Wave to elect Democrats all across the country, too!)
