The best pair of Senators in the country
Ron Wyden and Jeff Merkley.
Maybe it's just home state pride, but I think Oregon has the best pair of Senators in the country. Not just because they're among the tallest. Or even because they're the nerdiest (sorry, fellas).
They're the best Senators because they work so hard on policy to make life better for all Americans.
In Congress, they say there are "workhorses" and there are "showhorses".
Jeff and Ron are workhorses.
Yeah, here in Oregon, we're really lucky.
OK, it's not luck.
It's hard work and organizing that keeps them both in the Senate, working for all of us. After all, Senator Wyden and Senator Merkley are each the first Democrats to hold their seats since the 1960s.

These two progressive champions are working every day to make sure that the wealthiest corporations and individuals pay their fair share; to ensure that families can find affordable and accessible child care; to put climate at the center of our infrastructure plans; and to make sure our democracy is open to all voters.
Right? This stuff seems so obvious.
Mitch McConnell, Donald Trump, and their allies may have other plans — but with Ron and Jeff in the Senate, I know we're in the fight.
