Oregon is getting a 6th district

This week, we learned that Oregon is getting a sixth congressional district in the 2022 elections. That's big news for Oregonians — but it's big news for the rest of the country, too.

After all, there are only 218 Democrats in the House right now. You can do the math — we're down to a one-seat majority out of 435 seats.

Meanwhile, after analyzing the 2020 election results, the Cook Political Report (a trusted nonpartisan source) says that Rep. Peter DeFazio's district now leans slightly Republican — an "R+1" in their book.

That makes Oregon one of the critical political battlegrounds for the nation in 2022. We must defend DeFazio and secure the sixth.

And I'm counting on you to be in this fight with me.

Please donate right now to our Oregon Blue Victory Fund. That's our "coordinated campaign" that puts organizers right on the ground in critical neighborhoods all across the state.

We have to get started right now. We have to put in the work right now. Please chip in $6, right now.

Onward!
