We The People will fight back against this outrage
Well here we are. Amy Coney Barrett is going to the Supreme Court.
Led by Mitch McConnell, the Senate Republicans have broken Senate rules and their own precedents to stack the Supreme Court with right-wing justices.
They did so to protect the interests of big corporations and billionaires who seek to control the levers of power in our country.
They did so to overturn the civil rights and equal rights of Americans who, for far too long, have been on the outside looking in.
And they did so to win the policies they want that they can't get through the legislative process — overturning the Affordable Care Act, allowing discrimination, ending access to abortion and birth control, and allowing polluters free rein.
This is a dark day.
But it is always darkest before the dawn.
In just one week, We The People will vote in historic numbers to reject this affront to our democracy.
We The People will rise up and remove Donald Trump from power.
We The People will rise up and take away Mitch McConnell's majority.
And then We the People will unrig the Senate, unrig our elections, and pass a sweeping agenda to create opportunity, equality, and justice!
Let's fight with everything we've got. Let's make today the last gasp of an out-of-touch, anti-democratic, right-wing before we remake America.
