Right here in Oregon, this one is coming down to the wire
Four years ago, Republicans won their first statewide race in years. As a result, we have a Republican Secretary of State right now.
We have to change that. This is a race that's way too close to call.
Shemia Fagan is a reform-minded progressive, a powerful leader who will always put the people first when it comes to protecting our elections, overseeing redistricting, and protecting voting by mail and our elections at a time when too many Republicans too often want fewer people to vote.
And, of course, she's also a strong ally in our fight against climate chaos, for better health care for all Oregonians, and for equality and equity.
Oregon is different in a lot of interesting, unique, and beautiful ways.
One of them that people don't think about all that often? That, since Oregon doesn't have a Lieutenant Governor, our Secretary of State is the Governor's top partner. As such, we need to elect someone to the job who will go to work for us on day one.
In 2020, we are organizing, mobilizing, and electing tried-and-true progressives like Shemia Fagan across the country—and right here in Oregon.
With just days until vote-by-mail ballots arrive and a race that's tied, we're taking this down to the wire.
Chip in $3 right now, and I'll match the first $25,000 in grassroots donations for Shemia.
Onward!
