Brett Kavanaugh? We can't let that happen again.

Two years ago this week, Brett Kavanaugh sat down and took questions from U.S. Senators about his nomination to the Supreme Court.

The math is incredibly straightforward now just as it was two years ago.

If Sara Gideon and Theresa Greenfield had been in the U.S. Senate then, Brett Kavanaugh wouldn't have been confirmed. And if we don't win in Maine and Iowa, we likely won't take back the Senate in November.

Donate to Sara Gideon and Theresa Greenfield now

So here's the plan: let's get some groundswell going. Let's do everything we can to elect these two terrific leaders to the Senate. Let's end the obstruction and return progressive leadership to the Capitol.

Let's make sure what happened with Brett Kavanaugh two years ago never, ever happens again. Donate today and send these two powerhouse candidates to the U.S. Senate.

... because, we need to be absolutely clear about this: Brett Kavanaugh should never have been confirmed to the Supreme Court. But, in total service to Donald Trump, Mitch McConnell and nearly every Republican senator pushed ahead.

So, here we are. And it's our rallying cry for so much these days: don't let it happen again.

With Sara Gideon and Theresa Greenfield in the U.S. Senate, we can get back to work on the issues that matter to our country—for progressives, for working people, for family farmers, for small business owners ... for all of us.

I'm not only talking about having a real strategy to deal with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, but also protecting our social safety net, fighting climate chaos, restoring our democracy—and making sure Supreme Court justices reflect our best values and remember that our government is supposed to be for the People, not the powerful.

Because, where Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell won't, Sara Gideon and Theresa Greenfield will.

So, please, donate today. Let's get them elected in the next big, blue wave.
