More Republican obstruction? You bet.

You know the story by now: our friends in the Democratic-controlled House of Representatives pass crucial legislation, and then it is buried in the legislative graveyard of the U.S. Senate.

All thanks to Mitch McConnell, all thanks to Republican control of the Senate. All he seems to care about is confirming one unqualified Trump judge after another.

That must change, and it's why I've set an end-of-quarter grassroots goal of 15,000 donations so we can power our movement to victory this year.

What's the latest on Capitol Hill?

The House has passed the HEROES Act. It's a critical life line amidst the pandemic—with a large investment in testing and tracing, hazard pay for health care workers, protections against evictions and foreclosures, extended family and medical leave, support for states and local communities to be able to open schools and provide health care, student debt forgiveness, and more aid for Medicaid and Medicare.

But, of course, McConnell and Senate Republicans won't give it the time of day. All these right-wing judges, and they won't even debate helping everyday Americans still struggling during this crisis.

This is just one example, and it's why we must win—both here in Oregon and across America. Our future depends on it.
