Sign my petition: The person with the most votes should win!

The person with the most votes should win. That should be true in every election, but especially for President of the United States.

Will you sign my petition and help us build a nationwide movement to abolish the Electoral College?

There would be no more "swing states" and everyone's vote would count the same, no matter where you live. Democrats in red states and Republicans in blue states would no longer feel like their votes are wasted.

If every vote counted, Republican candidates would come to blue states and Democratic candidates would show up in red states. Presidents thinking about re-election would want to compete for votes in the entire country. That's the way it should be.

In 2000 and 2016, America elected presidents who lost the popular vote. It should never happen again. Let's build a movement to abolish the Electoral College.
