The math doesn't add up. And new parents are paying the price.
Nationwide, there's no federally guaranteed paid leave for new parents.
For too many Americans, that means juggling obligations or struggling to pay bills if they can't work — all on too little sleep and with a newborn at home.
In Oregon, a bipartisan majority just passed a paid family leave law, one of just a handful of states that have done it already. Now it's time for Congress to step up and make it the law of the land.
Urge Congress to pass real and generous family leave laws now.
