This is terrible news, I need a minute of your time

The Supreme Court just decided that federal courts have no role in ending partisan gerrymandering, and instead are leaving that work to Congress and to state legislatures.

This Congress is deeply indebted to special interests and filled with Representatives that would lose their seats if gerrymandering were ended.

State legislatures are actively pursuing blatant attempts at voter suppression, at undermining communities of color, women, low-income Americans, and ex-felons.

We must take back the Senate if we stand any chance of ending this system of oppression. Will you rush an emergency donation right now to help me do that?

Too many people in power right now have a vested interest in protecting the status quo. If they were forced to win elections based on true majority support, they would lose. So they're picking their voters, instead of the other way around — and Mitch McConnell has no problem letting that go on, forever.

In 2020, I'm not just seeking reelection — I'm fighting to reclaim the Senate. That's why I'm not running for President in 2020. That's why I wasn't on that debate stage last night and won't be tonight.

If we don't take back the Senate next year, we face another 10 years of gerrymandered districts. If he wins, Trump could appoint more judges to lifetime appointments, where they'll uphold far-right attempts at gutting reproductive freedoms and rolling back protections for immigrants and the LGBTQ+ community. We'll never get H.R. 1, the anti-corruption and pro-democracy "For the People Act," signed into law, and we'll miss our last and best opportunity to address the climate crisis before it's too late.

Help me flip the Senate blue next year. You can make a critical difference right now.

I need you to step into this fight. We are the last line of defense.
