The [REDACTED] Report

The Mueller Report is out. Sort of.

A version of the report was released yesterday. It includes heavy redactions. Big sections have been blacked out by Attorney General William Barr and Donald Trump's Justice Department.

What we do know: the Mueller Report is a shocking portrait of a president obsessed with trying to derail an investigation into his conduct. It shows an extraordinary number of contacts between people in Trump's close orbit and Russians who attack America's democracy. And it shows that Barr, whose summary diverges wildly from the report itself, is an unreliable steward of the report and its contents.

While all the facts are still coming out, the American people deserve the whole report so we can read Mueller's conclusions for ourselves.
