Zero. Zilch. Nada.

I pay taxes. You pay taxes. It's our contract with each other as Americans: we all chip in to keep our country running.

Taxes keep our schools open, our roads and bridges in repair, and so much more.

Well, almost all of us chip in, that is.

Amazon? Netflix? Chevron? These are just some of the companies whose net tax bill was likely zero this year.

Thanks to a generation of regressive tax policies that benefit the ultra-wealthy, and with Donald Trump's tax giveaways as the cherry on top, too many ultra-wealthy and massive corporations pay less in taxes than everyday, working families.

That's beyond wrong. It's shameful.

We can, and must, turn this around and return America to a place where everyone pays their fair share.

But it won't happen with Mitch McConnell in charge of the Senate, with him obstructing and roadblocking every decent proposal put forward by Democrats.

So today, on Tax Day, I'm making a critical ask of you: please chip in and join our movement to take back the Senate.

Without your support, this problem's only going to get worse. The divisions in our society will only get more dramatic.

All because too many of the wealthiest Americans are off the hook when it comes to keeping our society afloat.

Please donate today. Let's change course here in America.
