Not extreme enough for Trump?

Donald Trump's Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen is out. Forced to resign.

I called for her to be fired because of her leading role implementing – and lying about – President Trump's evil policy of snatching migrant children from their parents' arms.

I'm glad she's gone.

But this is no time to celebrate. Because as long as Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump are in power, our job isn't done.

Chip in – let's take back the Senate in 2020, one campaign at a time.

There are reports that Donald Trump is pushing for a "choose your trauma" policy that gives parents the choice of having their kids join them in internment camps or letting government officials take their children away. He's talked about closing the border.

Just this weekend the administration said it might take two years to reunite families already separated.

And has Mitch McConnell done one thing to stop these horrible abuses? Of course not.

So it's great that Kirstjen Nielsen is going. But make no mistake, this betrayal of America's values won't end until we change who's running this country.

Donate today. Let's keep building this movement.
