He wants to rewrite history. We won't let him.

Almost everything Donald Trump said last night in his nationally-televised address was inaccurate, misleading, or lacking context.

His goal: rewrite history.

We won't let him.

Trump says that what's happening at the border is a crisis of the heart.

Is he talking about the children locked up in desert tent prison camps, or the children who died in his custody? No.

Is he talking about each asylum-seeker who looks with hope to lady liberty, only to be illegally and unconscionably pushed away? No.

Is he talking about his racist, xenophobic rhetoric whipping people into a frenzy? No.

Donald Trump does not have the power to declare a national emergency at our border. Nor should he.

The real humanitarian crisis at the southern border is the one that Trump and his administration made with their heartless and cruel policies.
