It's not a hoax, Mr. Trump
Donald Trump thinks climate change is just a big hoax.
The sticky part for him: his administration's own scientists are sounding alarms about the dire threat.
Their most recent official report warns that the American economy will suffer the equivalent of the 2008 Great Recession every year by 2100 as a result of climate chaos. Tens of thousands of people will die. And according to the report — and our own eyes — the terrible impacts are already happening all around us.
But Trump doesn't care. He's working to bury the report and ignore the consequences.
Ignoring climate chaos may be good for the fossil fuel industry, but it’s terrible for every single family whose lives and livelihoods are in danger thanks to climate damage humans are causing.
