They were moved late at night so they couldn't escape:

Newspapers are reporting that some children detained by our government at the southern border were recently moved into the West Texas desert to live in hastily-built prison camps.

They were moved without advance notice and in the middle of the night so they wouldn't be able to escape. They were jammed into buses and moved without knowing where they were going.

Donald Trump's immigration policy is horribly cruel. These latest revelations from the New York Times are terrible and grim.

School? No. Proper health care and safety? Who knows.

Do their parents know where they are? It's unclear. Some kids had emergency contact information scrawled on their belts.

This is all happening because the Trump administration is still jailing blameless children.

This is modern day internment. And it's happening under cover of darkness and while the whole world is watching Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation scandal because Team Trump hopes no one will notice the atrocities they are committing.

But we see them, and we will keep fighting for these children. Because decent people take care of kids, they don't deliberately harm them.
