They're called internment camps, Mr. Trump

Donald Trump has it in for children fleeing persecution.

Ripping them from their parents' arms.

Locking them in chain-link cages.

Sending them to massive detention camps — almost 1,500 boys were jammed into a single former Walmart store.

All of this was a calculated plan to inflict trauma on children to "deter" families from seeking asylum in the U.S.

The strategy of deliberately harming children comes from a dark and evil place in the heart of the Trump Presidency.

It is not acceptable under any moral code or religious tradition.

And now Trump has a new plan. He's drafted a regulation to expedite the construction and operation of internment camps to lock up children along with their parents.

And he's diverting millions of dollars from disaster relief to fund this horrible plan.

Internment camps were wrong in World War II and they are wrong now.

Kids belong in homes and schools and playgrounds—not locked up behind barbed wire.

Sign the petition: NO internment camps or family jails in America.

Not now, not ever!
