We need Jon

Jon Tester. A third-generation family farmer. Montanan. U.S. Senator.

When I ran for the Senate in 2008, Jon was one of my biggest and earliest supporters. His help was critical to my victory.

Jon is a rare breed. True to my own heart. He gets the needs of middle-class Americans. He's on the front lines in so many of our fights.

Here's the challenge: Donald Trump won Montana by more than 20%. And now the Koch Brothers and their shadowy friends have targeted Jon for defeat, because we can't retake the Senate or renew our democracy without Jon.

Can you pitch in to keep this Montana farmer fighting for us in the Senate?

Citizens United has transformed our elections. SuperPACs and special interests can now collect millions of dollars from secret donors, and spend unlimited amounts to get their far-right allies elected.

We can't afford to lose a fighter like Jon Tester. Pitch in to help him pull out a victory.

Jon is with us when it counts. Fixing our broken campaign finance system. Standing up for net neutrality. Restoring basic fairness to our democracy. Standing stalwart against GOP efforts to take health care away from 20 to 30 million Americans. Opposing the Republican tax bill that borrowed $1.5 trillion from our kids to fund handouts to the biggest corporations and the ultra-wealthy.

It's no surprise that the far-right has made defeating Jon Tester a priority – because he works for the middle class, not billionaires and powerful special interests.

I hope you'll join me in my support of Jon's campaign and pitch in today.
