John Kroger who is currently running to become Oregon's next Attorney General, is a strong supporter of Jeff Merkley. John Kroger won the Democratic and Republican nomination for Attorney General back in the May 20th primary. Here's a great picture of Kroger holding a Merkley sign during a visit to Redmond, Oregon.

Merkley raced [quarter-midget cars] as a child, and once owned -- and crashed -- a Harley. He roomed with an impoverished family in Ghana as a teen, hitchhiked across Israel as a young man and went on, as he puts it, to help shut down one of Portland's worst crack alleys.
