Jeff Merkley is in Denver at the Democratic Convention preparing to take the stage at 3:45 pacific time. KGW News caught up with Jeff this morning to talk about his upcoming speech. Check it out:

I just watched Jeff deliver his speech at the Convention. He has the right message: help for the deteriorating middle class - tax relief, living wage jobs, affordable and available health care and ending the war called Iraq.
I'm a Democrat from the state of CT. Having just watched the roll call at the convention, I should say, I'm from the GREAT state of Connecticut. I've been following Jeff Merkley's campaign these past months. This guy is the real deal, so obviously informed about the issues and caring about the folks behind the issues. He made a great speech at the convention -- you Oregonians are so lucky to be able to support such a bright star. What do I have beside Dodd? Lieberman!
