Tell Congress: Crack down on predatory payday lenders!

Add your name as a supporter of the SAFE Lending Act. »

Like vultures, payday lenders are preying on working families that are struggling to get by. Offering a temporary lifeline, these predatory lenders pull families into an inescapable vortex of debt by piling on interest and fees that quickly become un-payable.

Online lenders are increasingly employing innovative techniques to fleece families – even reaching into people's bank accounts and taking their money, with no involvement or notice to the account-holder.

It’s time for Congress to crack down on predatory payday lenders, make loan terms transparent, and rein in abusive online tactics!
