They went nuclear (fight back)

Today is a dark day for our country. In their quest to lock in dark money and corporate power, Senate Republicans have delivered a body blow to the integrity of both the Supreme Court and Senate.

On a pure party line vote, the Senate Republicans have gone "nuclear" – changing the rules in order to force their right-wing activist judge onto the Supreme Court.

So I filibustered. From 6:45 Tuesday evening to 10:15 Wednesday morning I laid out just how destructive the confirmation of a conservative activist to a stolen seat would be. I spent 15+ hours on the Senate floor, rallying the nation and hoping that just a few of my Republican colleagues would reconsider.

But they didn't and so we must fight back. We must organize, and agitate, and stand up for We the People.

Our resistance is strong. It is powerful.

We are building a grassroots movement that will get our country back on track.

We won't win every fight. But as long as we don't give up, we'll get stronger and stronger.

In his many years on this earth, Donald Trump has proven again and again that the only things he respects are money and power.

Well, let's show him that we have grassroots power. We're fighting for our country. And we can't lose.
