Jeff Merkley's campaign is launching a new ad today that captures the growing demand among Oregon voters for leaders who will listen and fight for the change we need. The son of a millworker and the first in his family to go to college, Jeff Merkley listens to working Americans and fights to put middle class families first.

The new ad will air statewide all week during the Democratic National Convention. On Wednesday evening, Merkley will address the Democratic Convention to share his vision for change in Washington D.C

Jeff Merkley is traveling to 100 towns across the state to build support for his plans to change Washington D.C. by fighting for good-paying jobs, always protecting a woman's right to choose, ending the war in Iraq, and honoring the sacrifice of our veterans.

"I am honored to have the opportunity to address the Democratic Convention
this week and speak about Oregon's opportunity to change the direction of our country," said Merkley. "We need new leaders who will listen to the voters who are calling for change and end the bickering in Washington to deliver for working people. That's what Oregonians demand and that is exactly what my campaign is about."
