100 Homes for Change

George Bush has dealt another disastrous blow to the people of our state, denying emergency assistance to coastal communities dealing with closures of the salmon fishery, and Gordon Smith did nothing to stop him.

Time after time, Gordon Smith fails to right the wrongs of George Bush and we need change.

We've now visited many towns on our 100 Towns for Change tour and we're building the momentum we need to retire Gordon Smith and George Bush. You can find stories, photos, and videos of the tour on the campaign web site by clicking here.

Our campaign is putting the people of Oregon before the powerful special interests in Washington D.C. To build on our success, we're launching a new grassroots effort to reach out to Oregonians across the state.

One night each month starting in August, people across Oregon will gather in living rooms to take part in 100 Homes for Change, a statewide house party day to learn more about Jeff's plans to change Washington and how to help make it happen. We'll connect all the events together through a conference call at 7:00 PM with Jeff and an exciting national speaker.

Hosting one of these 100 Homes for Change parties is easy and no prior political experience is required. A typical party will have 10 to 15 guests and a fund-raising goal of $250 or higher. We'll provide you with everything you need, including a house party kit, Merkley gear, and support from a team of experienced organizers.
