Former Oregon Governor Barbara Roberts is one of our state's great progressive leaders. She's blazed incredible trails, including being the first woman elected as Oregon House Majority Leader. Governor Roberts was also elected as Secretary of State in 1988, the first Democrat elected to the post in over one hundred years.

During her term as governor, Roberts was a champion of health care, education, good-paying jobs and civil rights for all Oregonians.
